This chassis automation machine has two independent tooling units. One performs securing operations at the front of the vehicle while the second tooling unit does the rear. The tooling design allows for ease of maintenance. All torque operations are monitored from both tooling facilities and recorded. In the engine compartment area, the front tooling facility secures the tie rod nuts, the transverse member attachments, engine support member (belly band) and the front muffler flange. The rear tooling facility secures the center carrier bearing (four wheel drive), ground strap, rear muffler flange, the rear cross member and the lower rear shock attachments.
